The hospitality was the part that stayed with us most. Everyone, including the restaurant staff, was warm and generous, and we felt looked after the whole time. Bellwood Hills Resort and Spa is peaceful, with beautiful hills around it, and the mountain views from the rooms are stunning. Waking up to clouds moving over the mountains was unforgettable. Lots of love from India 🇮🇳❤️

The anniversary decorations the team arranged were such a thoughtful touch and made our celebration feel extra special. We also loved how calm and refreshing the hilltop setting was, with beautiful views across the mountains and valley. It was a lovely, peaceful stay at Bellwood Hills Resort & Spa, and we really appreciated the warm hospitality.

The location made it easy to get to the Bellwood hiking trail and the 360° viewpoint. We only stayed one night at Bellwood Hills, but had a great time. The room was spacious and the view was remarkable, and having a pool and jacuzzi was a nice extra. Staff were friendly and helpful. The food was good, though portions could be a little bigger. I’d gladly recommend it.

Getting up the winding road takes a bit, but once you reach the top, it feels worth it. Bellwood Hills Resort & Spa is tucked into misty hills near Kandy, a lovely quiet break from the busy world. The staff were so welcoming from the moment we arrived, and everyone went out of their way to make us comfortable. Our room was spotless, spacious, and nicely arranged, with greenery and cloud covered mountains all around. The pool and spa were great for relaxing in the cool breeze. Breakfast had a fresh, tasty spread, and the rest of the food was delicious too. A peaceful, scenic place that left us with a lot to remember. 🌿💫

The Bellwood viewpoint is worth the climb, with a breathtaking view beyond the lake. The sandy path can be slippery, so sturdy shoes and careful steps are a good idea. The hotel is less than an hour from Kandy, partway up the steep road from Thalatuoya to Galaha. It’s a superb spot for switching off, whether you want to write, paint, or just relax.
