Brookside Nature Hotel

My family and I had a terrible stay at Brookeside Resort. The place was unclean and unhygienic, and the staff were rude and unhelpful. We felt really uncomfortable there. I wouldn’t recommend it to families or anyone hoping for a pleasant getaway.

We spent 2 days at Brookside Nature Resort and had a wonderful time 🌿😊. Mr. Kumara gave us outstanding support and hospitality, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Service was friendly, prompt, and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. The breathtaking mountain views made the stay memorable. Highly recommended if you want to relax in nature with great food and service! 🌄🍃✨

The setting and views were beautiful, but the hotel itself was extremely disappointing. The food was substandard, the place felt disorganized and chaotic, and basic cleanliness was lacking. It seemed guest comfort wasn’t a priority. Staff were unfriendly and didn’t seem interested in helping, making the atmosphere cold and unwelcoming. Such a shame, because the location had so much potential. The hotel service ruined the experience, and it wasn’t worth the time or money. I wouldn’t recommend visiting unless management seriously improves how the place is run.

We stayed for two nights in June 2024, and returned in September 2024 after 3 months because the owner had promised improvements. The location is a dream, with a beautiful view and nice pool, but everything else was a nightmare. The equipment was quite old, the bathroom was dirty with hairs in the shower, there was monkey poo on the balcony and cocroaches in the room. Staff weren’t very friendly either. On our return, things were no better. They gave us a VIP suite full of thousands dead ants, with rotten fruits and animal poo in front of the door. The entrance is from the outside balcony. We didn’t stay there, and the owner, probably a new one, promised to return our deposit. We still haven’t received the money. Avoid at all cost.
