Green View Holiday Resort

We extended our stay because it was such a lovely escape from city life, and the price was good too. The trees nearby were full of fireflies in the evenings, really beautiful, and there’s a cute dog around. Kandy is about a 30-minute tuk-tuk ride away, with little shops along the main road. The owners were always helpful and gave us good tips. Our room was spacious and comfortable, the shower had hot water, and breakfast was tasty and generous. The pool was great. Even this far out, we could still hear some April New Year fireworks.

We arrived exhausted and, because we’d made a mistake, didn’t have a booking. They welcomed us anyway and were so kind. The place was clean and beautiful, and they treated our child and us wonderfully. I can’t recommend it enough. Thank you so much.

The rooms were clean and had what we needed, with cozy beds that made it easy to sleep well after exploring Kandy. We also had plenty of parking for our own vehicle, which made coming and going simple. The owners greeted us warmly when we arrived, and both they and the staff were helpful whenever we needed something or had a question. Breakfast was a real highlight, with lots of tasty choices and good quality food. We looked forward to it each morning. The pool area was well kept and a nice place to swim or relax. Green View Holiday Resort made the trip memorable, and we’d happily return. We’d recommend it to anyone visiting Kandy.

We really enjoyed staying at green view hostel. It’s peaceful and laid-back outside the city, and the owners are genuinely kind, helpful, and honest. When they were able to, they offered us rides into town, helped us plan our next stop, and made us feel at home. The pool is large and clean, and we had fun swimming and playing there. They grow lots of fruit on their land, told us about it, and let us taste it. We loved the curry and dal they made for dinner too.
