I was born in Australia to Sri Lankan migrants, and this visit to Kandy gave me a chance to learn about my roots. At Kelvin Grove Home-stay, Mr Bulathsinhala helped me explore my ancestry and explain Sri Lankan Burger heritage. I’m very grateful to him and had a wonderful experience. For context, I work as an auditor for an Australian Christian charity, which can be stressful, and I build custom cars as a hobby. It’s a nice, 150-year-old building close to the center. The owner was friendly, recommended lots of places to visit, and gave us a map.
