The owner made us feel welcome and the rooms were clean and spacious. It's close to the airport, with several restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance.

The property itself was wonderful, and our rooms were very clean. The owners were kind and caring, and even stayed up until 3 am to let us in after a late check-in.

A lovely boutique hotel with friendly, attentive service. A helpful, lovely couple run the place. I'd definitely recommend it for a short airport stay.

The lady looking after us was very kind and helpful, though the card machine wasn't working. Even with her trying to reach the hotel staff, it wasn't easy to sort out. Ace Boutique Hotel is in a house with a garden. The rooms are set apart from the main living space, and you reach them through a shared living area. That means late arrivals or people moving around at night can make noise. The rooms were generally clean, but the furniture seemed dated and there were cobwebs on the high ceilings. You have to take your shoes off when you come in, which might not suit everyone. It's a modest option for a short stay if those quirks don't bother you.

Breakfast was good, and the stay was decent value overall. But there was no mention on booking.com that the queen room's bathroom was separate and outside the room, which really put us off. Service also felt a bit off: most of the time nobody was around to help, and that made the place feel a little creepy and unsafe.
