I have asthma but hadn't had symptoms for years. By morning, after staying in a room with serious water damage and black mould, I had bad flu-like symptoms. The internet didn't work, and the room's internal phone was broken. I'd emailed before arriving and got no reply; when I went to reception late at night in the rain, the staff member had disappeared and nobody answered the phone. I decided to stay anyway because of the situation. The rooms look nothing like the pictures, and the staff were arrogant. When I asked for a discount, they threatened to involve the tourist police if I didn't pay in full. I was rushing to catch my flight, so I paid. This place is a health hazard with terrible customer service. I wouldn't stay here even for free.

The owner left the work to two very young, inefficient boys. After we'd paid, the hot water was turned off, and we had to call every morning to get it connected. On checkout day, there was no water at all for a shower. When we complained, one boy ignored us and went back to sleep. We complained again, and he said we were lying, so we took him to the room to check. They disconnected the WiFi and said there was no GB; they promised it would be back in 30 minutes, but it never came back. The owner's mother walked around in a long gown and said we were the only guests who complained. She seemed to forget the Australian guest who complained right in front of us that he hadn't received what was promised and paid for. He'd ordered breakfast before us, but it wasn't ready, and they served him the breakfast my husband had ordered. That Australian guest was furious. This hotel needs serious improvement. I would never give it five stars.

A rooster outside the room crowed nonstop from 3:30 a.m., so I had the worst night's sleep I've ever had. The hotel didn't have any earplugs to help.

The place was terrible. They might give you a different room from the one you booked. The rooms were dusty, the walls hadn't been cleaned, and there were mosquito marks on them. The washbasin and toilet lid were broken, the towels were damaged, the locks didn't work, there was no soap, and the shower equipment hadn't been cleaned. Staff were noisy, and the restaurant service was bad.
