After a long day out on safari, the peaceful natural views around Tree Tops Yala make it a nice spot to unwind. The staff are welcoming and helpful, which made the stay feel relaxed and comfortable. Its biggest plus is how close it is to Yala National Park, making early morning or afternoon safari trips easy without a long drive. A convenient, comfortable base with lovely surroundings for exploring Yala.

The cook deserves a special mention for the delicious, authentic Sri Lankan meals throughout our two-night stay at Treetops Yala. The property was clean, well looked after, and had all the amenities we needed, including a great pool for relaxing. From arrival, everyone was warm, welcoming, and supportive, and the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. We had a fantastic visit and recommend it for genuine hospitality near Yala national park.

The Yala National Park entrance is only around a 20-minute drive away. The staff were friendly, the rooms clean and roomy, and the food was good. A really nice place.

Bathroom space and water pressure can be modest, but most guests seem to find the surroundings and wildlife make up for those practical drawbacks.

We stopped here briefly while traveling from the East coast and wished we could have stayed longer to see more of the wildlife and nearby area. The simple pool was nice, and the accommodation has a clever, well thought-out design. We’d come back!
