Green Ayurvedic Beach Resort

This was a very unpleasant stay, with constant street noise in a remote area that had almost nothing around. It was hard to relax, and the place was nowhere near what you'd expect from a “resort.” The room called “sea view” had large glass windows covered completely by a curtain, and it was extremely hot and uncomfortable. The windows, floor, and bathroom mirror were dirty, and there were lots of mosquitoes inside despite all the windows being shut. Breakfast was just one egg, four pieces of toast, and unfiltered coffee. I paid an extra 1,000 rupees for more eggs and some fruit. The owner brought it the next day, then asked for even more money and was pushy about payment, which made me uncomfortable. The place doesn't match the photos or description and can't be considered a resort. I wouldn't recommend it.

I strongly advise against booking here. The meals are expensive and not worth the cost, and the menu's "seafood" dish had no actual seafood in it. The rooftop looked nothing like the pictures. It was cluttered with stored junk, with no seating or adequate lighting. There were problems in the bathroom too: a broken door lock, a persistent foul odor, and faulty lighting. Heavy curtains made it extremely difficult to get a look at the sea view. A disappointing stay.

I’d seen old negative reviews, but the place seems to have improved a lot. It felt clean and well cared for, with a fresh herb smell, kind staff, great food, and relaxing treatments. The beach view is amazing, and the whole place has a peaceful, healing feel. A good spot to relax and feel refreshed.

We found it on booking.com and called to reserve a night. The owner sounded pleasant on the phone, and the room was big with a gorgeous sea view, but it was missing a lot and was filthy. There was dirt and cobwebs everywhere, torn and dirty bedsheets, and a mess under the bed that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. The AC wasn't working well. Cobwebs covered the water heater, curtains, and windows. The bathroom doorknob was broken, so we couldn't shut the door properly, and the light kept flickering eerily. There was only a tiny bar of soap, though thankfully the hot water worked. The tiny fridge stank, and there wasn't even a water bottle. No staff were around to help, and there was no phone to call reception for water or coffee. They charged us 7000/=, which doesn't seem okay for a room like this. We really wanted to see the balcony view, but it was closed, and we couldn't find anyone in the morning to ask about it. The whole place felt a little creepy at night, though the sound of the crashing waves made the stay a little bit okay.
