The staff were kind and gave us helpful travel advice. We got to check in after midnight, even though the owner had to wake up to let us in. The room was tiny, and the simple continental breakfast felt a bit pricey compared with other guesthouses. There wasn’t a Sri Lankan breakfast option. The shower had no wall or curtain, so water got everywhere in the bathroom. We stayed in September 2015 as a couple.

The staff were so friendly, they even came to meet us when we got off the bus. The room was clean, and the shower had strong pressure and hot water. I’m really glad I picked this place. Great location, highly recommend.

The room was dirty, and the owner was rude and intimidating. I was just helping a friend carry some bags into her room when the owner shouted at me and threw me out. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Cockroaches were everywhere, it was disgusting. The workers were impolite and useless. Never again. If you want to have a good time in Negombo, pick somewhere else.
