The food was delicious, but the service was very poor. It took over an hour and a half to get just rice and spaghetti Bolognese. The waiters seemed very incompetent and had us write our own order in a book. Even then, they forgot the spaghetti, so we waited another 30 minutes for it. There were only two tables being served, yet everything took a long time.

Sandani was extremely hospitable and made a delicious breakfast. The villa itself was very nice, and it’s well located close to the beach.

It’s a lovely villa tucked into a quiet setting in the middle of a busy city. The room was really clean and spacious, with a living area, so it’s easy to relax and enjoy a holiday here.

They had bikes available, and gave us lots of helpful advice for getting started. The accommodation was beautiful, super clean, and close to the beach. Very hospitable hosts.

We’d booked a room nearly two months ahead, then got an email the day before arriving in Negombo saying they were overbooked. So unprofessional.
