Amji, the manager, was attentive to the quality of the services and always ready to help. Dasuna runs Leo’s Café with the team, and together they created a special atmosphere. We loved the food at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and even got to join a curry cooking lesson despite it being the off-season. We spent four days here as a family of four with children. The accommodation was very high quality, and it was clear that the owners and staff put a lot of heart into making Bella Nilaveli a memorable holiday spot. There are many ways to spend time in the surrounding area. If we come back to Sri Lanka and there’s availability, we’ll go straight back to Bella Nilaveli. Thanks so much for everything 😍

The beach is really clean and less than 100 meters away. Our apartment was the best place we’ve stayed so far in Sri Lanka, beautifully decorated and very clean, with a laid-back continental feel. Breakfast was lovely too, especially the ice-cold fresh juice.

The rooms are simple and roomy enough, though mine could have been cleaned more carefully. Still, the relaxed atmosphere, handy location, and good value made for a pleasant stay. It’s a short walk to Nilaveli Beach, and the pool was a highlight, clean, well maintained, and great for cooling down after a sunny day. Staff were welcoming and helpful, and the fresh, tasty food had a decent range. A good budget option near the beach if a nice pool and friendly service matter to you.

Amji and Shan were there all day, every day, to help our family with anything we needed, and we really appreciated their support. We also loved Shan’s cooking. Thanks to Anna for making the booking so easy. As a family of four, we enjoyed staying at Bella Nilaveli. The beach is 50 m away, and from here we could visit Trinco town or head up the coast to great fishing spots. We’ll be back. 🙏🏼

I own a villa close to this property. The owners of Bella came over from the beach and started screaming at our villa staff, which terrified our foreign guests. The lady and her husband were obviously intoxicated and left a very bad impression on them. They kept highlighting that they owned Bella Nilaveli Beach as if it were something to be proud of. We have videos and pictures of the incident and have submitted them to local authorities, including Facebook Tourist pages.
