Nicholas Cottage

Fourteen of us, college friends, spent four unforgettable days at Nicollas Cottage for a reunion 30 years in the making. Catching up and laughing together in those peaceful hills made the occasion feel even more special, and we left with full hearts and wonderful memories. Ruwan and Vasantha made us feel like family with their kindness, warm smiles, and attentive care. They were always there when we needed something. The traditional meals Ruwan prepared were outstanding, made with fresh vegetables, meat, and fish, and tasted like home cooking. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and well cared for, so we felt at home as soon as we arrived. Shane handled the booking and kept every promise, answering our questions promptly and making sure everything went smoothly. The beautiful setting and peaceful surroundings made this a lovely place to relax and reconnect with family or a small group of friends. Highly recommended.

Our host Rowan made us feel right at home, and was so welcoming. When we couldn't find a restaurant late at night, he even made us a meal past midnight. Everyone was so kind, and the service was 10/10. The rooms are clean and cozy, and the food is good with a decent menu. I'll definitely come back.

I've been back to Nicholas Cottage for a third stay, and it keeps exceeding my expectations. The place feels peaceful and welcoming, a nice break from everyday noise, and I already look forward to returning. Each visit, the bungalow has been clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully set up. It's comfortable and familiar while still feeling refreshing. The staff are consistently friendly and attentive without getting in the way. Ruwan and Wasantha, the caretakers, were especially helpful and professional, and did everything they could to make guests comfortable. The freshly prepared meals are another highlight, full of flavor and made with obvious care. I also really value the privacy and relaxed, homely feel of the cottage. I'd recommend Nicholas Cottage to anyone after a cozy, peaceful, reliable stay.
