Sam is such a friendly host, and the place has a great vibe. Sitting on the terrace with a beer and the view was lovely. The service was the best too, Sam was always happy to help whenever we needed something. He makes amazing dinners with his mother and wife at a really good price. There’s a menu to choose from for dinner, lunch, drinks or the included breakfast. He even made us breakfast at 5 AM to take on a hike. Just an amazing place, would definitely recommend!

It felt like being at home, with tasty food and extra facilities. The place is right at the edge of Gregory's lake, with a nice view and comfortable rooms with good hot water. They organized a round trip to see hidden waterfalls around nuwaraeliya, which was really good and very cheap. I highly recommend it.

The beds were very comfortable, and the host was friendly. A really nice place with great accommodations and a good location. I’d highly recommend it to anyone travelling to nuwara eliya. Probably the best place we stayed during our time in Sri Lanka!

The host was really attentive and helped arrange any tour we wanted. The rooms are small, cosy and clean, and the shared bathroom has warm water. Two rooms share one bathroom. The food tasted good and there was plenty of it. We had a very nice stay at the backpackers Nest in Nuwara Eliya. I’d definitely recommend it and would come back anytime.
