The owners were very kind and helpful, suggesting places to visit and making sure I was comfortable. I had no problems during my two-night stay at Yenisey Lake View Bungalow, and it felt like good value for money. I’d recommend it to families or couples looking for a calm, comfortable place in Nuwara Eliya. It’s right across from Gregory Lake, and the view from the balcony was superb, especially in the cool hill-country weather. Waking up to it was a highlight. The rooms were spacious, very clean and well maintained, and the peaceful surroundings were a great place to unwind after a day exploring.

Waking up to the fresh air at Gregory Lake and taking quiet walks along the water was one of the best parts of our stay at Yenisey Hotel. The hotel is right in front of the lake, in a cozy, peaceful setting with a homely feel. We were greeted with warm smiles as soon as we arrived. The owner was kind, friendly and always willing to help, which made us comfortable throughout our visit. Highly recommended for anyone coming to Nuwara Eliya 🌿✨

We started every morning with coffee in the cool breeze, looking out at Gregory Lake. The bungalow’s garden felt like a dream, and its position by the serene lake gave us breathtaking views. It’s close to town and the scenic Gregory Lake parks, so getting out to explore was easy. Our December break lined up perfectly with New Year’s Eve and felt magical. The food, accommodation and service were impeccable, making for a comfortable and delightful stay. It was a peaceful, beautiful haven.
