We came for two nights and wound up spending the whole week at The Rainforest Lodge in Deniyaya. It felt so comfortable and homey, and the place has everything we needed for a great break. The rooms were spotless and the service was warm. Inoka made the trip especially memorable. We watched her prepare her delicious, one-of-a-kind meals, and she took us on a private jungle walk. There are yoga mats, a hilltop spot for meditation, and relaxing Ayurvedic massages. The staff were also really helpful arranging tours into the amazing Sinharaja Rainforest. Highly recommend it!

The area is full of nature and really lovely. It’s about 2 kilometres from central Deniyaya, with a beautiful walk into town. Our host was kind and helpful, and made sure we had most of what we needed. There was hot water too. Highly recommend.

There were birds all around the lodge, with forest and mountain views. The host had everything we needed and made us a delicious dinner. Deniyaya is a colourful, busy town about a 2-kilometer hike away, and there’s also an Ayurvedic massage available.

We were looked after well, especially our mother, who was given food and drinks. The garden at Rainforest Lodge is lovely, the food is delicious, and the place is clean. A good spot if you’re planning to visit Singharaja.
