KAVINDU R.
I left feeling frustrated and disappointed. The staff were unhelpful and unprofessional, and the customer service was extremely poor. I expected much better service. Definitely not worth a visit, and I don't recommend this place.

Amani Lake Resort has a peaceful, calming atmosphere that’s great for relaxing. The pricing is reasonable for the service and amenities. I found the rooms comfortable and well maintained, a cozy place to return to after a day of activities. I had an excellent experience and would highly recommend it for a quiet getaway.
The place was noisy, and the whole resort smelled strongly of cigarettes when we arrived at night. Our room and bathroom weren't clean, the bedsheets looked dirty, and there was no bidet shower. The location is good, but they need to improve the service.
The rooftop has a great breeze and a view across Panadura south, and you can bring a couple of friends up for an afternoon drink. The rooms are neat and the environment is very nice, with friendly staff. If hygiene matters to you, I recommend going here.
They claim the day-out buffet is at an international standard, but it doesn't meet that level. The manager also didn't know there was pork in the buffet, and some people ended up serving themselves all of it. The evening tea and snacks weren't served properly. By then everything from lunch was gone, including any cake, and they didn't seem to care about guests after 3pm.
