The only downside is how quickly time passes here. Medawatta Villa is a peaceful little oasis whether you’re staying a short time or longer, and I highly recommend it. The family make you feel welcome as soon as you arrive, with so much warmth and kindness. The property has different fruit trees, and I got to taste the fruit several times during my stay, which was a lovely extra. Auntie’s breakfast was amazing too, and I looked forward to it every morning. My room was spotless and the bed was really comfortable. I spent three weeks here this time and enjoyed every moment, just as I did on my previous stay. I’ll definitely come back!

Kusal, aunty, uncle, and their son made us feel at home with their warmth, humility, and friendly help whenever we needed it. We had a wonderful stay at Madawatta Villa during our last Mirissa vacation. The rooms were clean, spacious, well maintained, and very comfortable for the price. It’s a peaceful spot that’s also convenient for getting around Mirissa. We’d gladly stay again, and highly recommend it for comfortable accommodation and genuine hospitality.

I first stayed at Medawatta Villa for one night a few weeks ago, and loved it enough to return for two nights, then add another two. I’m sad to leave, but I’ll definitely be back soon. I live in Hiriketiya and needed a little mini holiday, and this peaceful villa surrounded by nature was just what I needed to recharge. The family run it so warmly, always greeting you with big smiles. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, just perfect. Breakfast was included and turned out to be exactly what I needed. The main areas are about a 10-minute walk away. Thank you so much 🙏🏼

Kushal was especially helpful with arranging our stay and setting up whale watching and surfing activities. Everything came together smoothly for the best two-day getaway we could have hoped for. Our time in Mirissa was superb. The place was comfortable and only a few minutes from the beach, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended!

The hosts were really nice, and the room was clean and cozy, so we felt comfortable there. It’s a lovely villa in a great location, very close to the beach if you’re into water sports. We’ll definitely come back.
