We spent a week in a clean top-floor room with a view, a fan, and air conditioning, which was very welcome in the heat. It was mostly quiet; the train went by around four to six times a day, but that didn't bother me. The city is about a 20-minute walk away. We took a tuk tuk back at night because the road was dark and there were dogs. Breakfast was clean, tasty, and local, though I thought it could cost less. When I said I don't like spicy food, they didn't really add pepper. The couple were kind and welcoming, and they also hosted us for lunch.

We spent a couple of days here while enjoying the beach. The owners were lovely, and the rice-field view was really nice. I'd definitely recommend it.

We were greeted with a cold drink, and the owners, a very kind and thoughtful couple, even treated us to a delicious lunch. The balcony was a lovely place to relax and enjoy the great view, and the Wi-Fi worked well. It's a bit far from Mirissa and the town center, and tuk tuks can be hard to find, but that distance makes it peaceful. I also loved hearing the train and watched it every time it passed.

The road beside the accommodation is quite noisy, though the location sits between Mirissa and Weligama, both less than 10 minutes away. We had a really good stay, largely because the host made things easier. We could text him whenever we needed something, and he drove us by tuk tuk for a small fee. The service was 10/10. We'd definitely visit again.

We booked two nights, then added a third because we liked it so much. The staff were great about answering questions, and they did our laundry for a fair price. There was plenty of hot water, and the air conditioning was quiet. It's a very peaceful spot just outside the busy Mirissa high street. A scooter and tuk tuk rental shop is only a couple of minutes away on foot, so getting into and out of Mirissa is easy. I'd recommend it if you want a calm stay.
