I’ve never visited a worse rest house in Ratnapura. Cockroaches were flying around, and the dustbin and water jug were dirty and smelly. Mosquitoes made it impossible to sleep peacefully. The washroom was unclean, with a half door and insects everywhere. I’ve stayed in cheaper places that were basic but clean. They hadn’t even cleaned the awful dustbin. They tricked people with fake reviews from different accounts and hid the truth.
The cockroaches were flying around, and the water jug and dustbin were dirty and smelled bad. The bathrooms were awful, worse than in ancient villages. I wondered if we’d accidentally ended up in a public toilet instead of a rest house. It’s the poorest rest house I’ve visited in Ratnapura, more like a terrible lodge. They call this a cheapest room 😂, but who would pay a coin for a public toilet rest house? They charge 1750/- for 12 hours. What a pricing strategy 👏🏻. I must complain to the PHI about services like these.
The room was comfortable, clean, and roomy, and the place had a nice atmosphere. I had a good stay and would recommend it.

For a short stay in Ratnapura city, this is a good option. You can get a separate room or an apartment at a reasonable price, and the place feels calm and safe.
