The area is quiet and full of wildlife, and the beach where turtles lay their eggs is only a five-minute walk away. There aren't many shops nearby, so you'll need a scooter to buy food, but the hosts can help arrange one. Sachi was very helpful, and our simple, clean room had everything we needed for a week, including AC, hot water, and bottled water for sale. Breakfast was very good, and they were happy to adjust it to suit what we liked.

We loved seeing both large and baby turtles nearby. The whole family made us feel welcome from the start, and the son was especially thoughtful with his tips and recommendations. Everyone was attentive and friendly, and the facilities were well cared for and set up comfortably. Such a lovely family and place. We'd happily return.

The sunrise trip in the double Kayak was stunning. The Kayak was great, and arranging everything by phone was easy. Our host also took really sweet photos and videos of us. Thank you so, so much 🥰🍀

We only stayed two days, but it was lovely. The beach was just a few hundred metres away, the food was amazing, and the staff were wonderful too.

There are lovely views here, with the lagoon to one side and a sandy beach to the other. We visited in low season and ate at the nearby restaurant The Hungry Dragon, while breakfast was served at the guesthouse. They made omelettes to order, along with fresh papaya, watermelon, and bananas, and also served traditional Sri Lankan food with freshly made coffee and tea. Great service from the father and son who run the place, and a comfortable spot to leave your things while exploring the area.
