The people working here were the highlight, all warm and friendly. Special thanks to Chameer, who served us most of the time and was such a cheerful, smiley young lad. He brightened our day. Atha Resort is peaceful, like pure paradise. The rooms are fantastic and the whole complex is amazing and so well designed. The food is very good, especially breakfast. It changes each day, so you can try traditional Sri Lankan dishes, though the portions can be a lot. Maybe ask for half portions. I’d highly recommend it for easy access to local must-see activities like Sigiriya.

We had a calm, peaceful time at Atha Resort in Sigiriya, just right for a relaxing stay. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and we especially enjoyed the tasty food and refreshing drinks. Everything was well arranged. I’d definitely visit again.

A lovely nature-themed hotel in Sigiriya, surrounded by greenery that gives it a distinctly Sri Lankan feel. The staff are kind and friendly, the amenities are all there, and it’s a comfortable, relaxing place with great food and drinks. Some rooms have a private pool. Book ahead.

The staff were cheerful, polite, and friendly during our pleasant stay at Atha Resort. The grounds are a carefully maintained, lush green secret garden. We enjoyed using the pool, and liked being so close to Pidurangala Rock.

The Sri Lankan Breakfast and curry were standouts, and the food was some of the best we had in Sri Lanka. We enjoyed every part of our stay at Atha Resort. It’s a real gem, with a stunning setting, a spotless room, and the most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept in. The staff were warm and absolutely friendly. A mention as well for our driver Dammika. We travelled with him for six days, from Sigiriya to the south. He’s a very good, safe driver, a warm person, and cared a lot about our wellbeing. We highly recommend him as a driver.
