Sigiri Corridor Home Stay

The host made us a lovely homemade breakfast, and I really loved the Idiyappam. The family are friendly and always there to help when needed. I’d definitely recommend this homestay to anyone travelling to sigiriya.

Sithi was the best thing about our stay. His hospitality is 10/10, and he helps arrange any tour, class or experience you’re after. He has a car, tuktuk and safari jeep, and drove us wherever we needed, including Kandy, Negombo and the Airport. We went on an elephant safari and a loris night tour while we were there. The rooms are clean and simple with everything you need, and breakfast was very good. My girlfriend and I highly recommend this homestay.

Sithi and Family made us feel so welcome. We arranged lots of experiences with Sithi, who took us everywhere and knows the surrounding places well. He gave us very good advice on what to see and how to explore Sigiriya. The location is a short distance from Sigiriya Rock, in a peaceful, green area that makes a good base for seeing the sights. Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable, and the family helped with transport and local recommendations. Their generous, delicious home-cooked meals were a highlight, especially eating outside with the garden view. It’s great value, with warm hospitality, tasty food and a fantastic location. Highly recommended for an authentic and comfortable stay.

Host Sithi took care of everything, from transfers to a personal jeep safari, and kept checking in to see how I was doing. His local restaurant recommendations were excellent. The clean room had air conditioning and was surrounded by nature, with soothing jungle sounds at night. I had an amazing stay at this Sigiriya bed and breakfast. Supporting a local small business while experiencing such genuine hospitality felt great. Highly recommend!
