The area is quiet and feels safe, which made it easy to rest or focus on work. Rooms are roomy, clean, and well kept, with comfortable beds and the basics needed for a relaxed stay. Staff were welcoming and helpful, and service was prompt. A peaceful option for families or business travellers.

Nishani, the owner, is kind, and the villa is a good place for a family stay. Getting around is easy if you have your own car. The tariff is very reasonable compared with paying 15 k in the city, and it's a good villa too.

We felt relaxed and safe here as a family, and the prices were quite reasonable. It's a calm, peaceful base for visiting Colombo. When you need help or guidance, they support you like family. I'd be happy to recommend Majestic Appat: Wijayaba Mawatha Colombo to anyone planning a Sri Lanka trip.
2/10
I wouldn't recommend this place. Nishani took an advance for my second booking, then cancelled when I arrived, saying she hadn't recorded the arrival time. It took 17 days for my money to be refunded. When I asked about it, she insulted my family. Very unprofessional and poor customer service. If you want a last-minute cancellation after booking ahead and to be insulted, go here.

The location is easy to get to, and the host was gracious and accommodating throughout my stay. I travel alone to Colombo for work often, sometimes for a week twice a month, and Majestic apartments has been a lovely home away from home. My room was very large and pristine clean, which matters most to me. The shared area and kitchen had all the necessary amenities.
