Isuru was a top-notch host, quick to reply and always around when we had a question. He made us feel at home and kept the stay really comfortable. The bedrooms were comfortable too, and it was good value for money. Highly recommend 👍

I spent over two months here while doing volunteer work, though it would work just as well for a holiday. The host was attentive and easy to message whenever I needed something. The beach and restaurants are about a five-minute walk away. The villa had just been refurbished, so it was immaculate. I had a comfortable four-poster bed, an outdoor bathroom, and a kitchen with everything I needed. There was good wifi, a lovely spot outside for yoga, and a pretty garden with sunbeds. They also offer massages in a nice massage area on site.

Talalla beach is only a couple of minutes away on foot, with plenty of restaurants and beach bars. There was no cheesy music blaring along the beach, just the waves and surf breaking. The rural setting also meant lovely wildlife: monkeys, huge flying foxes gliding at dusk, and lots of birds and other animals in their natural habitat. If you're after quiet, this place is a gem. Our villa had three bedrooms, a kitchen, two bathrooms, and a beautifully kept private garden. Everything was immaculately clean, and it had all the perks we needed. Staff were polite, welcoming, and attentive. Thanks, Subasha, for fitting us in at short notice and arranging our transport.

We especially liked sitting with a coffee in the morning and watching the wildlife, including mongoose, monkeys, and chipmunks. The beach at Tallala was calm and empty, the nicest we've enjoyed in SL so far. Isuru welcomed us like family and made everything easy, from transport to Tuk Tuk rental and restaurant recommendations. He's warm and helpful, and seems to take real pride in the comfortable, stylish summer house he's built. It's a peaceful stay in Tallala, about four minutes from the beach, and would suit a family or small group looking for somewhere quiet. We'd happily return and recommend it.
