It feels more like a family mansion than a hotel, and when we were there the owner was in town and super friendly. The atmosphere was calm, and it was very quiet. There's a lovely pool and secure parking. Breakfast can be ordered from a menu, with basic but tasty options.

The food tastes great and the service is good, but the pool is terrible. The sand in the water doesn't settle for long, and it made all of us sick. Eating there is fine. I'd avoid going if you plan to use the pool.

We had a lovely family outing on December 23, 2025. The staff were attentive, and the spot near Thalawathugoda junction is convenient for a small group. Our food was just average, though the portions were generous.
