We had a lovely stay in the two cabanas, tucked into a beautiful garden. Breakfast there was traditional Sri Lankan and really delicious. The owner and his wife were warm and helpful with everything we needed. Such a hidden gem, and we'd recommend it to anyone.

The cabanas are spacious, clean, and quiet, with a big garden around them. Breakfast was delicious, and the owner and his wife were both so kind and friendly. If you want privacy and a peaceful place to stay, we absolutely loved it here and can recommend it 💜

We came for some peace and quiet in nature, with the beach easy to reach, and found exactly that. Peacocks, chipmunks, parrots, and other animals live in the garden. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and kind.

Just sitting on the veranda, you may see birds, squirrels, giant squirrels if you're lucky, monkeys, and peacocks in the garden. Silent Beach is about 10 minutes away via a shortcut in daylight, and Goyamboka Beach is a 5-minute walk. The hosts are very welcoming and clearly care about showing their country in a good light. They're former teachers who keep thinking about how they do things and making changes if needed, though I don't think anything needed changing. The room was cleaned daily, and towels were replaced when we asked. Service is top-notch, and the breakfast and dinner by arrangement were the best food we had in Tangalle. We loved it and will definitely be back.
