ThiThi's Palace

We really enjoyed staying at Thi Thi palace. The room was comfortable, the bathroom was great, breakfast was lovely, and the pool was a nice place to relax. The staff were friendly and helpful. Marissa beach is a 20 minute walk, but there’s a beautiful quiet beach just across the road. Walk along it and you’ll find a good spot for swimming and a drink. The train station is about five minutes away.

The three bedroom apartment is up three stories, so it’s best for anyone comfortable with stairs. There’s no air conditioning in the common areas, either. Still, we were pleasantly surprised by the brilliant location and service, especially since we booked at the last minute without expecting much. It’s not luxurious, but the terrace is lovely, the sea view feels surreal, and the night sky is full of stars. Breakfast is simple but well made, and the service is top notch. The shaded pool was a bonus, and the staff didn’t mind when we went for a swim at 11 pm one night. Kudos to the whole team.

There’s some potential here, and for the price the value was acceptable, but the experience needs more care. Our spacious room wasn’t very clean when we arrived. The view was really poor and nothing like I expected from a place like this, while the small pool looked a bit dirty and didn’t tempt us to use it. Breakfast was basic, and service was extremely slow even when it wasn’t busy. Better cleanliness, quicker service, and more attention to detail would make a big difference.

Sanju and the team were helpful and responsive all through our stay. They quickly answered our questions and made a real effort to keep us comfortable. They also arranged whale watching for a much better price than we were usually quoted, and everything went smoothly. Very good hospitality.
