Best Hostel Yala

Waking up to nature sounds and seeing a peacock on the roof felt magical. The hostel was peaceful, clean, well maintained, and surrounded by nature. The host was caring and made sure we had what we needed, even sharing a delicious home-cooked meal. We asked for a female dorm and they made sure we had one. For the price, this is a real gem, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting Yala.

I was one of only a few guests, and there wasn't much to do right nearby. The owner was helpful and available remotely while I was there. My private room was comfortable, and the air-conditioning upgrade was well worth the good price. I was disappointed with the safari. It felt expensive, and we spent hours waiting in one place for a leopard that never appeared. Wildlife is unpredictable, of course, but I'd have preferred to see more of the park instead of waiting. You can probably tell the driver what kind of trip you want. I only took a half-day morning safari, though I heard the afternoon groups had better luck seeing leopards. If spotting one is important to you, a full-day tour might be worth booking.

Pradeep and his team made us feel at home in their special hostel in Yala. He was kind and helpful, and got our safari organized quickly. After we left, he helped us get back some towels we'd forgotten. The location is good, but what stood out most was the personal touch. Thanks to all of them, and we hope to see them again soon. I highly recommend the place.

Pradeep, the owner, made my stay memorable with his helpfulness and great sense of humor. The hostel has the essential amenities and makes an ideal base for exploring the Yala safari. I had a fantastic time.
