A peaceful, comfortable guest house with a nature-friendly feel. It was clean and safe, and the staff were friendly and helpful the whole time. I really enjoyed the calm atmosphere and would highly recommend staying here.

We planned to stay one night and ended up staying four. The food was a big part of that: Anoma and Jay made us several tasty dishes, and we even cooked fish and salad together one evening, the kind we make in England. They ordered curd for us and made fresh smoothies every day, including papaya and lime, and passion fruit with papaya and lime. We loved trying Sri Lankan food in their home. Jay also arranged a Yala National Park safari and packed fruit from his own garden for us. He asked the driver to buy us hoppers too. There are plenty of shops nearby. Jay was thoughtful and careful when I burned my leg, and he was always quick to bring whatever we needed. He also suggested places to visit. We went to the lake, a temple, and the ocean, about a 20-minute bike ride away. We fed the elephant next to the Buddhist temple, bringing bananas and aubergine each day. The elephant loved when we came to feed him! Our room was huge, clean, and had a picturesque garden view, with soap, towels, and everything else we needed. Outside it was a large sitting area with sofas, chairs, and a coffee table. We spent a lovely time there drinking fresh homemade juices. Thank you for everything, and see you soon xx

The curry was the best I had in Srí Lanka, and the service from the whole family was great. The head of the household offered to take my daughter and me from Tissamaharama through Ella, Nuwara Eliya, Kandy, Dambula, and Sigiria, finishing in Negombo. He treated us like princesses, always suggesting reasonably priced accommodation, good places to eat, and great spots for seeing events, sights, and views. We can fully recommend their service.

A great base for safaris, since this lovely family-run place is very close to Yala National Park. Everyone was so nice and helpful, and the rooms were excellent. I'd definitely recommend it.
