We held a family wedding at this hotel yesterday, and it was a very disappointing experience. The registration table hadn't been set up, and the only welcome was a drink, with no bites or snacks. When we asked the waiters, they said they didn't know anything, which felt unprofessional. The dining area and tables were arranged poorly and had no proper decoration. The main table looked especially unattractive. The staff also had no proper dress code, and some looked as if they'd come straight from the kitchen. The hotel didn't meet basic expectations for a wedding. I wouldn't recommend it for important events.

We found this place after our first accommodation fell through, and we're glad we did. We got to look at several rooms before choosing a spacious, airy family room with a sitting area and balcony. It looked out over the pool, gardens, and lake, and everything was well maintained. A very good breakfast was included. One morning, when we had to leave early for our Yala Safari, they packed it for us, which we really appreciated. There are a few small maintenance issues that could be fixed, but it was still very good value and a nice place to stay.

The rooms at Lake Edge Holiday Inn in Tissamaharama were clean and well kept, and the prices felt very affordable for what we got. The staff were warm, friendly, and always ready to help. The food was very good and the service excellent. I had a comfortable, pleasant stay and would definitely recommend it.

Set on its own grounds beside a lake, this is a very nice budget hotel. My room had AC, a balcony, and a mosquito net over the bed. Breakfast was included, with tea, toast, and fruit. The staff were pleasant and extremely helpful. I'd definitely recommend it.

Really comfortable place, with lovely people and top-notch service. The morning tea was amazing too, and Mr. Manoj looked after everything we needed. Highly recommended ❤️
