For a one-night stay in Udawalawe, this is a great choice. The rooms are simple, but clean, with warm water, and it’s super quiet. The owner’s brother took us on an excellent safari. Our friendly guide showed us hidden spots in Udawalawe National Park, and we saw soooo many elephants along with lots of other animals. Highly recommend the tour.

The dining area is spacious, and the rooms are comfortable. It works well for groups and families. The meals taste good, and safari arrangements are available too.

Fine for just one night, but the rooms are mediocre. Ask for an air-conditioned room, since the regular ones aren’t nice.

The room was mouldy, and there was no lunch or dinner. If food is ordered from somewhere else, it gets sold at ridiculous prices. The safari was very poor and totally overpriced. The host acts like a wannabe cool guy, but came across to me as a tourist-ripping idiot. Stay away!

They sorted out a great safari for us and even got us beer for the evening. The room was big and comfortable, and the food was good. Some of the most helpful people in the world.
