The beach setting makes it easy to get to snorkeling, jet skis and other activities, and there are plenty of bars and restaurants right beside the resort. I found the rooms huge and clean, with a bathroom bigger than any I’ve seen. Both pools were nice, too. We didn’t have time for them, but there’s badminton, table tennis and beach football as well. It has all the facilities, and I’d definitely stay here again.

The beach is close by, and the view is great. Rooms are simple but practical, with enough facilities. Staff were friendly and knew their stuff. There are lots of beachside restaurants and bars nearby. Breakfast came in generous portions, and they could adjust it to suit your diet.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the bar sits right on the beach. The restaurant is nicely placed to look out over the beach and sea. My room was nice, and the bathroom had a great jacuzzi bath. I stayed one night and enjoyed the place, though it wasn’t quite what I expected. I like getting a feel for local culture when I travel, so seeing a sign for “Full English Breakfasts” in the dining area overlooking the Indian sea put me off. It was nice enough, but it needed a few finishing touches to feel great.

There’s a lovely stretch of beach in front of the hotel, good for a long walk. The pools are nice, the staff are friendly and the location works well. The rooms are decent for what they cost, and the place strikes a good balance between comfort, luxury and simplicity. Fish at the outdoor barbecue can sometimes sell out, since it depends on what’s available at the local market. At least it’s fresh.

The resort looks beautiful and is kept in good shape. I enjoyed the pools, and the diving lesson was fun. The staff are nice, very Sri Lankan. The food, though, really isn’t the best I’ve had, and I can see why other people complain about it.
