KK Beach Hotel

We took the free transfer to Kahanda Kanda several times for lunch and dinner. It made a lovely jungle contrast to our beach stay, and owner George took time to chat with guests. One evening we watched Crazy Rich Asians, which was a highlight. Back at KK Beach, we spent four nights relaxing after our Sri Lanka tour. The manager and staff were very friendly, and Kasun at the pool was always cheerful and efficient, positioning our beds and bringing extra towels whenever we needed them.

The food was very good, with Sri Lankan dishes and a few European choices, and the drinks menu had reasonably priced wine. Staff were polite and helpful, with excellent service that never felt intrusive. The hotel sits right on soft white sand, which was nearly empty, and has direct beach access. All rooms look over the pool and ocean. Our Penthouse Suite 5 was beautifully decorated, with a large bedroom, separate sitting room, and bathroom. It was silent with the patio doors closed, and with them open, all we heard was the ocean just yards away. A perfect spot to relax, only a short drive from Galle. We wouldn’t be disappointed to visit KK Beach again.

I was in tears when we left KK Beach today because I didn’t want to go. From our arrival, the food was fresh, creative, and full of flavor, and the staff were incredibly warm and caring without ever intruding. The atmosphere felt stylish but relaxed, and it was easy to feel at home. Every detail showed care for the guests as well as the property. The people, food, vibe, and view all came together beautifully. This place made me feel truly welcomed and looked after. I can’t wait to return. ❤️

The à la carte breakfast included generous plates of fresh fruit, and the coconut pancakes were a highlight. Staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive throughout. We enjoyed refreshing morning swims in the pool and relaxed on the stylish sunbeds. A short climb from the property leads down to the beach, with peaceful long walks along the shore. The KK Collection welcomed us warmly to this beautiful boutique gem right on the beachfront. Our spacious suite had a sea view, modern interiors, and a calm atmosphere. We wholeheartedly recommend KK Beach for a relaxing, high-quality beach getaway.
