Wetland Resort

The peaceful surroundings were what I enjoyed most. Wetland Resort sits amid lovely natural scenery, and it was easy to switch off from the busy city. My room was spacious, clean, and really comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made it feel welcoming. The staff were warm and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. The meals were fresh and tasty, with plenty of choices and consistently good quality. I had a wonderful stay and am already looking forward to coming back.

The pool and rooms were kept in great shape, and the place felt pleasant and clean. What really stood out was how kind and attentive the staff were. They went out of their way to make our family feel welcome. Breakfast was delicious and clearly prepared with care. If you're in Negombo, I'd recommend giving wetlands resort a try. We had a great time and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Silva met us at 4am after our 30-hour journey and helped us get settled. We spent three days at the resort before heading on through SriLanka, which gave us time to adjust to the time and climate. The owners and staff, especially Silva the manager, made us feel cared for and welcome. We took two tours to see places around Negombo, including the fresh fish and dry fish markets and St Anthony’s Church, where a suicide terror attack in 2019 killed more than 300 people. The rooms are nicely equipped, and the pool and grounds are lovely for a small hotel. Breakfast was delicious, and my wife especially liked the Melon jam. Food could also be arranged on request during the day. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the resort. We hope to visit again!

The staff were great and always listened when we needed something. They were really accommodating, and the rooms were very comfortable. We had a lovely time at Wetland resort and would recommend staying here.
