This felt like a home away from home: safe, peaceful and private. Our non-AC room was clean and comfortable, and we really enjoyed having a shared balcony and a well-equipped kitchen with everything we needed to cook. They also have AC rooms. Randika aiya, uncle and aunty were exceptionally kind and caring. They treated us like their own daughter and son, even sharing food with us, which made us feel so welcome. Randika aiya was always friendly and attentive, checking if we needed anything and giving us the best support. Highly recommended for a comfortable, friendly and trustworthy stay.

The balcony was my favourite place to read and sit surrounded by nature. The sounds there felt grounding and relaxing. I felt at home staying here in Weligama. Randika and his family were wonderful hosts who always went above and beyond. As a solo traveller, I felt very comfortable, and they made sure I’d eaten and had everything I needed. They treated me like their own daughter. I wouldn’t recommend anywhere else. I wish Randika and his family the best, and hope you get to experience what I did.

Randika began helping me plan my trip a full month before I arrived in Sri Lanka, and his genuine care continued throughout my stay. He’s always there to help with whatever situation or challenge comes up. I’m so grateful for the kindness he and his family showed me. The accommodation is quiet and relaxing, and very good value for money. From the start, staying with them felt like finding a home away from home rather than renting a room. There’s nowhere else I’d stay in Weligama.

I booked three nights, then ended up staying almost ten because everything felt right. Randika, who manages the guesthouse, is especially friendly. He takes time to chat, check that everything’s okay and help with anything you need. He’s from Weligama and knows everyone around, which is handy if you want local tips. The family are incredibly kind and welcoming, and you really do feel at home. The room and bathroom were spotless, the house was very quiet, and the location was excellent. Honestly, I couldn’t find a single downside. Highly recommended!
