The staff are willing to help, but I had to switch rooms three times before finding one with working air conditioning. This is a simple two-star hotel that needs renovation. Breakfast options are limited, and they didn’t have any butter for the toast. 🙁

The beach is only a short walk away, and I really enjoyed my stay at the Murex. The rooms were clean, and the owners and staff were all very friendly. There’s a good range of dishes at the hotel restaurant, with seafood that was especially delicious. I’d highly recommend the Murex.

I had no reservation, but the staff found me a room twice, and the second time they upgraded me for the same price. My company’s good relationship with them may have helped, but I still think the staff went out of their way to give good service. The food is good, and the place is great apart from an issue in room 202, where the toilet backed up for a full day before clearing the next day. Management should look into it.

It’s easy to get to, right by the main road, and the staff are courteous. The rooms are clean. There aren’t enough meal choices, so breakfast got boring every day. Still, I give it five stars.
