A lovely family hosted us, and the rooms are beautifully decorated. The garden is stunning, the location is great, and it’s in a very safe part of town. I’ve stayed here several times and will come back again.

What a lovely place! The lady who welcomes guests is just wonderful. She makes you feel like family as soon as you walk in, and she has a really sharp sense of humor. Looking forward to our stay. Highly recommend this place.
The breakfast was delicious: fresh fruit, yoghurt, tea, coffee, cereal and a hot meal made to your preference. On the second day, the lady realized we were from the UK and went out of her way to serve baked beans, a taste of home. The omelette the next day was fantastic too. Everyone was welcoming and accommodating, and nothing seemed like too much effort. For the food, service and room quality, the price is a bargain. We stayed for three nights over New Year’s Eve. The rooms have what you need, including a TV, mini fridge and wardrobe space. They may look a little dated at first, especially if you’re visiting from Europe, but that seems pretty standard for the region. If you want first-class amenities, you’ll need to pay more for a hotel. For the price, this place is clean and very homey. It’s a bit far from the city centre, but M&D Cafe is just around the corner, about a two-minute walk, with good food like wings and tacos, friendly staff and drinks. The owners have travelled a lot and enjoy meeting people, so stop by and say hello. My husband and I would definitely stay again. The good points outweighed the downside. Thanks for having us, and see you next time!
After a long drive from SA to Lesotho, this beautiful Bed&Breakfast was a lovely place to rest. The rooms are warm and welcoming, and the view of the mountains with their water stores is breathtaking.
My first visit to this beautiful country was made special by the warm welcome from the Blue Crane Host and the Blue Crane family. Their friendliness and hospitality made me feel at ease and at home. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and breakfast was wonderful. It was truly a five-star experience, and I recommend Blue Crane to anyone visiting the mountain Kingdom.
