The service was really good, and the waitress was nice, though she seemed shy about apologizing. The food was very disappointing. The soup of the day was the only dish that was really good and fresh. The cod's couscous wasn't fresh and had turned mushy, while its coating looked extremely unappealing and tasted rich in a not very pleasant way. The seafood soup had so much onion that it overwhelmed both the smell and taste. The duck breast was overcooked and very dry. This is about the restaurant, not the hotel.

It's a nice place, but I was told this was a four-star hotel and that walking around half naked was illegal, even though it was 30 degrees. Later, I was also told smoking a self-made cigarette was illegal. Well... There are too many rules getting in the way of relaxing.

The hotel itself deserves five stars: the forest view, flower-filled yard, and our two rooms for us and my parents were all lovely, neat, and clean. Service was very good too. Gintare at reception was efficient, friendly, and helpful, and masseuse Audrone did a very good job. Breakfast was also really good, and we all enjoyed the hot dishes. We'd stay again, but we wouldn't eat at the restaurant. We went there around 7:30 p.m. for dinner with my parents. The setting looked nice, so we expected the service and food to match. First we noticed a dirty tablecloth. We waited quite a while for the waitress, and the receptionist kindly changed it for us. After ordering, we waited close to an hour. The waitress, I believe her name was Emilija, never checked whether everything was OK. While we were still eating our main dishes, she hurried us to order dessert, then put the desserts on another table. Once we'd finished, she didn't clear our plates, so we had to do it ourselves, and serve ourselves dessert too. When she finally came back, she rushed us again, saying the restaurant closed at 9 and we had to pay. She wasn't helpful, friendly, or pleasant. The food was horrible, as if someone off the street had cooked it. Maybe it was a different cook from the one at breakfast. The owners should pay more attention to employees' personalities, communication, and willingness to help customers. That's why my overall rating is three stars, five for the hotel and one for the restaurant.

Breakfast was average and couldn't rescue a bad stay. The SPA is tiny, almost dwarf-sized, and the sauna is tiny too. The Hamam was very poor, and hotel guests still have to pay for the spa on weekends. Reception staff and management were rude and showed no tourism culture. Amateurs, in a word. Avoid the hotel, don't risk it. I hope booking.com has downgraded it.
