Draugu Namai

Dragų Namai was explained to me as meaning friends house, and that’s exactly how staying here feels: you’re warmly welcomed into someone’s place rather than treated like a hotel guest. The management is responsive, lovely to run into, and makes you feel at home. Rooms have all the amenities you could want, with a kitchen for making your own meals. The beds are really comfortable, and the rooms and shared areas are kept clean. There’s a nice bonus right across the way, a coffee shop with delicious coffee, food, and deserts. Parking is free and easy, even in high season. You don’t really need a car because of the location, unless you want to explore outside the city. If you do, they have some nice bikes for rent. The shared room upstairs is handy for larger groups to hang out without crowding their rooms, and it’s also a big playroom for children. I’ll keep telling friends and family to stay here, and I’m looking forward to coming back to the “friends house”.

I rented a bike with a trailer for my kid, and the service was amazing. The bike was really good, the prices were great compared with others, and they also gave recommendations on where to go for the best spots. Really recommend a visit 🫶🏻

The host was very kind and welcoming. The room was clean and the accommodation was good, making it a nice place for a holiday. The host also shared places to visit in Druskininkai. I’d recommend it for a short or long stay.

The rooms have a modern design, and the hotel is close to the city centre. It works well for couples or families, with very friendly staff and good service for the price.
