The Armenian Cafe on the first floor serves traditional food. I was surprised they had spas soup. It wasn’t the classic traditional version, but that was okay. They could offer more traditional dishes, like zhingialov hac.

The food was so good I ended up ordering some to take away. I tried Charčho, šašlykai and lavash kebab, and loved every dish. I stopped in on a rainy day in Druskininkai and was glad I did. The hosts were welcoming from the moment I walked in, and the interior felt warm and cozy, with lovely Armenian pieces. I didn’t get to sit outside, but the area looked beautiful, with wooden sculptures and seating. Definitely worth a visit for traditional food.

The people working there were amazing, always smiling, and the food and atmosphere were both lovely. We had a beautiful family holiday in Lithuania, staying in a cozy spot surrounded by what felt like millions of trees. I discovered that I love lavash. Unforgettable!

I waited 50 minutes for my meal when it wasn’t particularly busy, then another 15 minutes for the bill. The service has never been their strong point, but lately it’s been especially bad. The food quality has also dropped, and prices have doubled in two or three years, reaching ridiculous levels. Ten euros for a basic kebab? I’d been a loyal customer for years and used to stop here after weekends in Druskininkai, but after this experience I’m taking my money elsewhere.
