I don’t know where to start. It’s pretty damn bad, all of it. The reception felt like one of those awful desert motels in American movies, and the rooms were just as bad. Every night there was something, like someone peeing in a bucket by the window, or yelling on speakerphone for half an hour at 4 a.m. You can hear everything from other rooms, including snoring and vomiting. We had furniture from Soviet times that was in much better condition than what we got in our room. We booked a room that was supposed to be about 18 square meters and got maybe 6. None of the photos matched. The stairs didn’t have carpet, everything was dark and horrible, and they didn’t even give us a controller for the room’s AC. How are you supposed to use it, call them every couple of hours when you’re too hot or too cold? If there are no hotels available in this city, sleep in your car or a tent. You’ll be 100% more comfortable than in these rooms.

No breakfast, and at 50 euros a night it’s a bit overpriced for a 33-year-old hotel. Fine just for an overnight stay.
