The restaurant was the highlight for me, even more than the great hotel. They make their own beer and kvass, and I’d recommend trying both. We only ordered starters, but they were good enough that we expect the mains are just as good. The service was friendly and quick. One note from 2025/8/11: the guests in room 2.4 were very noisy and disruptive, even after midnight. Management responded right away when we complained, though it’s a reminder to make sure guests know quiet hours need to be respected.

The place itself is fantastic, but the restaurant let it down badly. We waited an hour and a half for our food, and they brought fish soup instead of the chicken soup we ordered. The plates looked like Princess Diana’s hat, and the waiter struggled to carry them. Then dinner took another hour to arrive. With a venue this nice, they should hire better waiters and make the service faster. I came from London to visit Lithuania, but I was very disappointed with the food.

The lake, woods, and landscaping are hard to beat, and the view and atmosphere are lovely too. I stayed five nights; my room was clean and the staff were friendly. It seems especially good for serious fishermen, since you can catch carp in the lake and pools for only 4 euro. The restaurant and menu were decent, though I didn’t enjoy breakfast.

Bowling was fun and fairly priced, especially for kids. The arcade games cost €5 per person for an hour, which felt a bit much, and they could use a children’s rate. Still, we had a good time.

We had a clean, tidy room facing the lake, which was great. There’s lovely nature around the large hotel complex, along with a restaurant, gym, and bowling alley. You can fish there and rent a rod for a fee. We didn’t catch anything, but it was fun.
