Camping Mindunai

The setting is great, but the bathrooms are horrible. There was only one sink for dishes, and people kept leaving their dirty ones in it. I couldn't find clean drinking water to fill my camper, and the area around reception looked messy. Watch which road you take: coming from the south, go through Mindunai village or you'll end up on a tiny sandy dirt road.

We camped in our own tent and had access to showers and toilets. Laundry or drying clothes costs €2, and you can rent boats, a sauna, jacuzzi, bicycles, barbecue, firewood, or hammocks. There's also a children's playground, with water access from a pontoon. Wonderful place!

The rented caravans are very old and broken in places, with a strong mold smell inside that made them impossible to stay in. If something breaks, it gets left that way. When you're in a tent or your own caravan, there's no way to get to the lake. The place feels like a trailer park with a bad reputation. Avoid it.

The rooms aren't high tech, but they're more than enough, and the accommodation was clean and well equipped. The cozy summer house sits in nature, with hiking, fishing, and swimming nearby. Mindūnai Camping is a serene Lithuanian retreat with friendly staff, ideal for nature lovers after a peaceful getaway. Recommended.
