I had a wonderful solo holiday here. The service made me feel welcome and looked after, and it was a really convenient base for exploring. 🥰 Such a lovely stay! ✨👍

The waiter was great and easy on the eye, but the meal was a bit disappointing. We had a lovely beetroot carpaccio to start, while the chicken Caesar salad was a letdown and the pudding was very average.

The central spot in Kaunas Old Town makes Hotel Daugirdas a handy base for exploring. I liked the mix of modern comfort and historic architecture, and the rooms were clean, cozy, and well-equipped. Breakfast gets praise for its variety, and guests also appreciate the friendly, helpful staff.

We were supposed to stay another night, but after that first night there was no way we wanted to. The hotel kindly let us leave early, so we moved to Park Inn Hotel. It was quite far from town, but clean and modern, with no spiders in sight. The room seemed pleasant enough in daylight. After dark, though, more than 20 large black spiders came out of the nooks and crannies, spinning sticky webs over the bed, shower, curtains, and walls. These weren't quiet little spiders sitting in a corner. They were big and active, running around the room. It felt like a horror movie. We tried to get rid of as many as we could before bed, but I woke up with one crawling on my arm and couldn't sleep after that. Spiderville would be a more fitting name for this hotel.

The staff were great, and the service was good. They were really helpful with my elderly family-in-law.
