The place was clean, comfortable, and well organized, and I’d definitely stay again. Self check-in was smooth and convenient, with clear directions that made it easy even though there wasn’t staff on site. Thanks to the owner for communicating so well and being thoughtful. I felt welcome the whole time.

A lovely space right in central Kaunas, with an excellent location. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting the city for work or for fun.

We booked the hostel just a few hours before arriving, but got no check-in information, so we assumed we’d check in when we got there. Finding the place was difficult because the sign on the door had faded in the sun. Then, in the middle of the night, I had to call reception to figure out how to get to our room and pay the city fee. The room was really dirty, dusty, and the sheets smelled bad. There were stains on the comforter and towels. During the night, a bug fell from the ceiling onto my husband. The bathroom and washrooms were dirty too, and unpleasant to use.

The bathroom, eating and dining areas, shower, and kitchen are all shared facilities, not inside the room. The places to eat next door don’t belong to the hostel. The photos are rotated and could easily be misunderstood.

I wouldn’t recommend this hostel. The furniture is old and damaged, and the owner is a scammer. I rented a room for a month and paid a 100 euro deposit at the owner’s demand, but it was never returned. The worst hostel in Lithuania.
