My wife and I paid 37 euros a day for one of the cottages in this quiet area. It has two rooms, one above the other, two toilets, a large bathroom, Wi-Fi, a TV, and a kitchen.

For €80 a night, you get the whole house, which feels like pretty good value. It’s clean and comfortable every time, with two shower bathrooms, a washing machine, stove, and living room with a big TV. A decent place to stay overnight, and I’d recommend it.

We felt cold and uncomfortable in this awful apartment, and were scared to touch anything because it seemed ready to fall apart. The owner's husband made things even worse. While we were out at work, he would turn off the heating each morning, drink our coffee, and rummage around. He even took empty cans from the cupboard in the second-floor bedroom. Just a complete nightmare.
