The beds are really comfortable, and the rooms are clean and practical, though there aren't many amenities, as you'd expect in this category. Moxy Kaunas has a lively, eclectic modern design, and its location is excellent for exploring the city. The reception desk is part of the bar, which gives the place a casual feel. You can get food and drinks in the reception area, but the prices seem a bit high.

The lobby and bar are pleasant, but service there can be hit or miss. Sometimes we waited a long time, even with plenty of staff around. Our room was spacious and nice, cleaned daily, with a good shower. The bed was firm but comfortable. There was just one pillow, which might bother some people, and no in-room safe. Storage is limited to a wall with a few hangers, but that wasn't a big deal for me. The hotel makes a great base for Kaunas, since everything we wanted to see was within walking distance. All things considered, it was a very good stay in a nice hotel and a great location. Recommended 👌🏼

After waiting nearly two hours with no clear check-in time or solution, I booked a room at the nearby Victoria Hotel and left. It was quite lovely, and its computer system actually worked. Thankfully, the third-party booking platform refunded my stay. I had arrived at 3 pm after a long day of travel, having booked and paid in advance, only to be told the computer system was down for an update with no ETA. Staff offered to store my luggage or suggested I walk around town. I went to the city centre for dinner and returned close to 5 pm, but they said the system had been down since 1 pm and was still unavailable. They offered a free drink and somewhere to sit, but nothing more. I'm sure this was an isolated incident, but it was very inconvenient, and the staff seemed a bit dismissive.

We expected more comfort and better equipment during our three-night stay. There were no extra blankets, not enough pillows, and no minibar or fridge for food and drinks. Staff seemed somewhat arrogant, and there was no table service. Breakfast was average, with nothing special in quality or variety. Despite the central location, the hotel feels significantly overpriced for what it offers. If we come back to the city, we'd definitely look at staying elsewhere.

Everyone was nice to us during our stay, and the rooms were clean. The breakfast was okay. It's a very good hotel in an excellent location, and I'd always stay here in kaunas.
