The apartment had everything we needed, and we enjoyed our stay. Getting in was easy. Our first entry code didn't work, but the company quickly sent another, and the three-door Yale setup was simple to use. Inside, there's a self-contained kitchen, a small shower bathroom, and lots of storage. They provide towels, shampoo, conditioner, a hair dryer, an iron and board, and somewhere to hang wet laundry. There was plenty of bedding and extra pillows under the bed. A toaster would have been the one useful thing missing. The bed was roomy, with lovely linen, and very comfortable. The sofa couch sags to one side from use, so it may be due for an upgrade. We didn't use the sofa bed, though we noticed an extra mattress topper. There's underfloor heating. We would have liked access to the aircon, since music outside meant we couldn't always keep the windows open. The shared washer and dryer were easy to use and seemed fairly clean, but bring detergent. The cleaners were friendly and welcoming. The apartment area was always clean and smelled nice. The building's shared stairwell and entrance looked much rougher, though that may be outside the owner's control. The company handling messages replied quickly and sorted out issues, and payment and booking other services were easy. The location is convenient, near a bus station and a popular high street full of shops, restaurants, and amenities. The bus is easy to use, or you can take a bolt. The outside and entrance look rough at first, but the apartment's shared floor feels like a different building. Toilet roll is supplied, but not quite enough for the whole stay. A pack was cheap at the local store. Cleaning costs an extra €25, and early check-in and late checkout cost the same, which can push up the price and make someone choose another place. The biggest nuisance was music from a nearby neighbour, pub, or restaurant, starting around midday and going on until late evening. Closing the windows helps, which is fine in winter but could be a real problem in summer. We slept with earplugs, so can't speak to other noise, but the music was tiring. We'd stay again because the things the property controls were mostly positive.

It should be fun to visit today.
