Victoria hotel Kaunas

The breakfast buffet was magnificent, and the staff were kind and hardworking. There’s also a nice bar and restaurant on site, plus spa facilities, though we didn’t use those. The hotel was clean and our double twin room had great amenities. The mattresses were on the firm side. We came for the Zalgiris game, and the location worked perfectly: a 15-minute walk to the arena and two minutes to Acropolis mall, with plenty of shopping and dining nearby. We’d stay again, 9/10. We heard some noise from maids cleaning nearby rooms in the morning and from the schoolyard outside, since we slept with a window open. It wasn’t bad, and noise is to be expected in this beautiful historic building with high ceilings. The hallways stay dark until someone walks through, which is good for power consumption.

Breakfast was a highlight, with plenty of choices, and the staff were polite and helpful. Inside, the hotel feels much bigger than it looks from outside, with high ceilings and roomy, comfortable rooms that have everything needed for a good rest. The only downside for me was having to pay for street parking.

I’m always happy to come back because the quality is consistent. It’s one of the best hotels in Kaunaa for conferences or training, with multiple halls, private parking and free wifi.

I had a very nice, quiet room, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast had a large selection, though my scrambled eggs were already cool even though I was one of the first customers. Free parking is handy, but the hotel name should be marked at the gate. There’s another gate 10 m farther from the street, which can be confusing. Also, remember your phone charger, as there are no USB outlets in the room.
