The place is close to the center and may be inexpensive for Klaipeda, at €45-60 a night for 3-6 people, but I wouldn’t stay again. We were put in a large basement room near the pool, apparently a former fitness room. There was a wedding upstairs, and loud music continued until midnight. Nobody warned us or apologized, and we weren’t offered any discount. The advertised pool also wasn’t available, for reasons we don’t know. Dust covered the room, and the key was very hard to use. The lock even looked as if a toothpick could pick it.

After a very hot day, the small pool was just what we needed. The place itself was amazing, and so was breakfast. If you want to stay in Klaipeda city center, this is a great spot.

The evening I tried the guesthouse’s modern SPA, with its three bathhouses and spacious swimming pool, was cold and wintry, and those two hours in the heat and steam were exactly what I needed. In the morning, breakfast was generous and tasty. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and the room was tidy, cosy, and had everything I needed. I was warmly welcomed at reception on a business trip, and the family-owned feel made the stay personal. For a 3-star guesthouse, it exceeded my expectations. 'Aismares' is great value for money, and I strongly recommend it.

The only thing I missed in the room was a refrigerator. Otherwise, the internet signal was good, and both breakfast and dinner were very good. Someone came in every day to make the bed and take out the garbage.
